Role- English Teacher:
Location- Altrincham
Teaching Personnel is currently seeking an adaptable and enthusiastic English Teacher to work in a secondary school in Altrincham. This is a full time role loking to strat in September and is a great opportunity to join a team of welcoming and supportive staff. If you are someone who has taught in the past and are wanting to get back into it, this could be the perfect role for you! The school is located near various public transport links and also has access to staff car parks.
The salary for this role is between £150-£200 per day dependent on experience.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Specialism in Chemistry, Physics or Biology is desirable
* Previous secondary teaching experience
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to ensure classroom management
* Passionate about teaching science to encourage and inspire students’ academic abilities
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare students for GCSE science exams by providing high quality learning and confidence in delivering lessons.
* Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and interactive lessons for both KS3 and KS4 students.
* Be confident using practical experiments, real-world examples and technology for the benefit of the students.
* Laise with different colleagues and staff members to ensure productive learning strategies are being prioritised.
* Offer targeted interventions for students who may be struggling/ under achieving.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
