Key Responsibilities: Perform routine and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and basic electrical systems, including AC/DC motors. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency. Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions for recurring issues. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company standards. Requirements: Apprentice-trained in a relevant mechanical engineering discipline. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is essential. Basic understanding of electrical engineering principles, including AC/DC motors. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexible and adaptable to work 6-2, 2-10, and 10-6 Monday to Friday rotating shifts. What’s on Offer: Competitive salary between £49,000 and £51,000 depending on experience.
