To support me during the school holidays to have more opportunities getting out and about and to give my family some respite.
It is important I have constant supervision to ensure I am safe at all times as I have no danger awareness, so use a harness or my SEN buggy whilst out.
Requirements:
1. Driving licence and access to own vehicle (with business insurance)
2. Understanding and experience with children who have special needs
3. Ability to work alone
4. Kind, caring and patient
Hours, days and times of work: 4 hours available per week, during the school holidays. To be split over 2 days in the week (2 x 2-hour shifts). The specific days and times of work will be flexible and negotiable with the successful candidate between 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday.
- Pay rate: £12.00 per hour
- Annual leave: The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work normally done during 5.6 weeks (statutory entitlement).
- Expenses: You will be reimbursed for prior agreed expenses incurred as part of the role.
- Sick pay: I do not operate a private sick pay scheme but provided you meet the eligibility criteria, you may be entitled to Statutory Sick Pay (SSP).
- Pension: I do not operate a private pension scheme but I will fulfil my statutory obligations via the NEST pension scheme.

1. Background check: A satisfactory Enhanced with Barred List(s) Disclosure and Barring Service check is required for this position. 2. References: If successful, you will be required to provide details of two referees, one of which must be your current or most recent employer, or character references if you have not been employed.
