Job summary
We arelooking for an enthusiastic, flexible and reliable Part time Care navigator Monday to Friday 8am - 12noon for 20 hours per week tojoin our current reception team covering maternity leave for 12 months, delivering an excellence standard of customerservice.
With the option of additional hours during staff holiday periods.
Main duties of the job
The reception team provide the first point of contact for patients and act as akey focal point of communication between patients, doctors, nurses, and otherstaff.
The ideal candidate will be well organised, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with competent computer skills. The role consists of a variety of reception duties and administrative tasks

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact forour Surgery. You will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of receptionduties and the provision of general support to the the whole team.Duties can include but are not limited to, greeting and directing patients,effective use of the appointment system, booking appointments. To act as thecentral point of contact for patients, the distribution of information,messages and enquires for the clinical team, processing all administrativetasks to the highest quality standards. liaising with multidisciplinary teammembers and external agencies such as secondary care and community serviceproviders.
To be successful as areceptionist, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also acustomer service role. You should also be able to deal with emergencies in atimely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations. Multitaskingand stress management skills are essential for this position. This role requires working in shifts, so flexibility is a plus.
