Based in Newport - UK, you will be responsible for providing technical support within the UK, and possible missions in Europe and Africa. An extensive and advanced training will be delivered at the beginning of your onboarding to provide you all the knowledge and skills to succeed in your role.
Responsibilities:
1. Accomplish preventive maintenance program for all our equipment within the UK, and missions requested by AFS supervisor-based Newport.
2. Provide technical support to ensure repairs & servicing.
3. Liaise with customers to develop a strong working relationship.
4. Contribute to local sourcing of spare parts by identifying suppliers to provide local support.
5. Provide support for all quality issues (product or equipment) that may arise and fully document them.
6. Maintain documentation to ensure its availability when required.
7. Conduct audits related to existing equipment and provide improvement/development to increase reliability.
8. Provide training for customers to ensure that best practices & current procedures are implemented.
9. Bring assistance internally and to the customers during the certification process.
Qualifications:
1. At least 2-year Mechanical or Electrical technical degree.
2. Minimum 5 years’ experience in machinery maintenance related fields with proven track record.
3. Shift schedules: Able to work shifts, rotating day shift and night shift.
4. Excellent command of English, both spoken and written. French will be a real asset.
5. ITS skills: MS Office, internet & experience of drawing/PLC software is useful.
6. Other technical skills:
* Knowledge and understanding of Mechanics, Hydraulic, and Electric diagrams and systems.
* Team player and experienced in a coordination role.
* Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
* Ability to travel internationally.
