* Working alongside building and maintenance

* Assist experienced decorators in various projects
* Learn and apply painting and decorating techniques
* Prepare surfaces for painting or wallpapering
* Gain expertise in using decorating tools and equipment
* Work as part of a team to achieve high-quality results
* Follow safety guidelines and best practices
The training you will be getting
Working towards the skills, knowledge and behaviours required to achieve the Level 2 Painter and Decorator standard;
Painter and decorator / Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education
You will be required to attend college one day a week on the London Rd Campus, and the remainder of the week will be in the workplace.
Functional Skills in English and maths if required.
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
A full-time position will be considered on successful completion of your apprenticeship allowing the apprentice to start of a long-term career with painting and decorating.
