We are on the hunt for our first superstar Area Chef to join our rapidly expanding, high volume, burger restaurants.
The Beefy Boys, started as 4 mates mucking about with a BBQ, trying our luck in some competitions, winning those competitions, opening our first site in Hereford and it’s all gotten very out of hand since then.
We are now at a point where we have 4 very busy restaurants, 2 events trucks and the fifth site ready to go, meaning we now need to look at the next stage of development and find our very first area chef.
If you have experience in new openings, have covered a region of at least 5 sites, have at least 2 years of Ops experience and the flexibility to be on the road and occasionally be away from home then please keep reading!
What you need:
1. To be a people leader: Recruit, onboard, develop, inspire and show them how it’s done! Be part of the action, must be willing to get stuck in and smash service at peak times and roll up your sleeves and clean with the team!
2. Food Excellence and attention to detail: Our burgers are smashed to order with no compromise! Our guests have world class expectations so every burger must be 10/10!
3. Inventory and supply chain management: Keeping good relationships with suppliers, staying on top of stock levels and stock rotation.
4. Performance monitoring and development: Able to have those tricky conversations, big people up, recognize the superstars and push them to their full potential.
5. Get it done attitude: Service is fast and at times intense. Must be someone who thrives under pressure.
6. A cool head and hard work ethic: Able to handle 600+ covers a day making sure every patty is smashed to perfection.
7. The ability to open a kitchen from scratch: All equipment, stock and processes in place.
8. Always have your figures in line: Monitoring each site's GPs, costs, wastage and labour budgets.
9. To be competent in IT systems: Getting the job done, not just in service, but behind the scenes!
10. To ensure all company procedures are followed: From burger build specs to training schedules.
11. To be the eyes and ears for the Directors!
