Department Summary:
The Cambridge Hospital Float Pool Registered Nurses provide care with an emphasis on culturally sensitive, evidence-based nursing practice. Members of the float pool are deployed on a shift-by-shift basis to provide nursing care to patients in ICU, Med/Surg, Radiology, and the IV team.
Job Purpose:
The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for planning and providing patient care in accordance with established Nursing Standards of Care. They will demonstrate initiative, knowledge, and clinical skills in caring for patients with complex needs. The Registered Nurse demonstrates the ability to effectively manage patients by assuming full responsibility for the assessment, plan, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care and directly reports to a designated nurse manager, clinical manager, or off-shift manager.
Qualifications:
* 2 years current Med/Surg RN experience preferred
* Telemetry experience preferred
* BSN preferred
* Currently MA RN license
