Our client is a well-established, fast-growing, top 40 professional security services provider. They have a reputation for providing quality security services to their clientele in the commercial premises, retail, and corporate sectors. They provide a bespoke all-inclusive fully accredited security solution including manned guarding, mobile security, and technical security.
The Role:
1. Identify new leads for business development within manned guarding, retail security, and corporate security sectors.
2. Generate new business leads and meetings with potential clients.
3. Promote the company brand and build relationships with new and key accounts.
4. Produce and develop bid documents in conjunction with the Directors.
5. Produce and develop costings in conjunction with the Directors.
6. Produce and present winning proposals at client sites.
7. Negotiate new business with key stakeholders.
8. Develop existing client relationships, including all-inclusive security solutions to support client requirements.
This role is hybrid, with two office locations in Yorkshire that can be utilized as required, with homeworking an option.
The Person:
1. Previous experience working as a Business Development Manager providing either technical or physical security services in the manned guarding, retail security, or corporate security sector is essential.
2. The ideal candidate will be fiercely ambitious with the drive and determination to become a Sales Director with all the financial benefits and kudos this role provides.
3. Proven experience in security business development with an in-depth understanding of the security industry.
4. Strong commercial acumen with demonstrable advanced relationship building and stakeholder engagement skills.
5. Proven success in achieving targets, enhancing systems, and processes with the ability to work using own initiative.
6. The ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks and deliver growth.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
