National Account Manager LOCATION: Blackburn / Home Based with travel REPORTING TO: Head of FMCG ROLE SUMMARY A newly created role for an individual to join our growing business, working closely with their line manager (Head of FMCG) and senior stakeholders, to support new sales opportunities and provide ongoing account management in the UK wholesale and key account retail trade channels, with the objective to maximise long term profitability for our client RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Drive long term distribution and availability Our clients and other brands in a specific group of wholesale/retail key accounts Tender process from submission to outcome Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and retailers. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to identify areas for growth and product improvement, making recommendations for changes both internally and externally within specified group of accounts. Internal/external main point of contact for all customer related issues & opportunities within specified group of accounts Ensure accurate translation of orders from customer to Our clients systems, and follow-up with internal/external stakeholders on any discrepancies. Support on the development of strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share for Our client Support on the identification of new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the customer base. Prepare reports, updates and presentations for internal stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and recommending actions. Promote and ensure the good reputation of o ur client and its individual divisions. Adhere to all company policies and procedures within the defined timescales. Undertake any other tasks which can be reasonably expected in relation to the role QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES Degree educated or qualified by experience. Proven experience in vape/tobacco sales (desirable) Results focused with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth. Strong knowledge of the FMCG industry, market trends, and consumer behaviour Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data. Negotiation and communication skills Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
