Key Tasks - Overseeing Technicians, in charge of maintaining stock levels, managing workloads and scheduling quality and compliance documentation ensuring clear communication/team work. Perform day to day vehicle/trailer repairs and inspections in the workshop and also at other sites Undertake the maintenance of equipment and ancillary equipment to manufacturers and company standards and procedures. Ensure that all relevant administration and documentation are to the correct standard. (Service sheets, Job cards, parts) working with the admin team Liaising with the drivers and traffic department to ensure all the vehicle Servicing, defects and issues are dealt with straight away. A solid understanding of electrical systems, fleet management systems and DVS compliance To be flexible in approach to the role as a whole. Assist in the improvement & development of the workshop operation. Work and communicate well as part of a small team with all departments What We're Looking For - Fully Qualified LGV workshop Technician who has the desirable skills to progress within our company HGV level 3 Min qualification. Knowledge of IT, fleet management and Diagnostic Systems. Welding and Fabrication Skills. Flexible approach to a job as a whole. HGV license Shift pattern Monday to Friday 7.00am to 5.00pm/ 8.00am to 6.00pm alternative shifts Job Types: Permanent, Full-time Good rate of pay depending on experience.
