Role & Responsibilities
We are currently looking for positive, compassionate, and caring Support Workers to join our supported living service in the Shoreham area. Our service provides 24 hours support to 2 males sharing their home, both of whom have severe learning disabilities with autism and can display behaviours that may challenge others. You will provide a high level of care and ensure their safety and well-being whilst showing a positive can-do attitude.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
* Assist the people we support in all areas of their lives and help them to achieve their goals.
* Participate in providing daily activities for the people we support, including long walks, bike rides, and swimming.
* Undertake tasks of a domestic nature, e.g., shopping, cooking, laundry, and house cleaning with individuals.
* Develop and maintain professional relationships with the people we support’s relatives, outside agencies, and other professionals.
* Support individuals in their personal care when appropriate.
* Support and care for those who may display challenging behaviours.
* Develop a full knowledge and understanding of administrative procedures pertaining to the people we support, including reports, support plans, and daily recordings.
* Undertake the role of keyworker for an individual.

Requirements:
* Staff work on a shift basis across the week, and some weekend working is required.
* Regular sleep-in duties will be required to provide on-call cover overnight, paid at £70 per sleep-in.
* All positions require an Enhanced DBS check in relation to adults.
* Full UK driving licence is preferable.
