Human Resource Business Partner
Location: Office in South Bristol (BS13 0RF) with frequent visits to various Schools within the Trust
Salary: £38,000-£45,000 based on experience
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Reports to: Senior HR Business Partner
About the Role
Are you a skilled HR professional with a passion for supporting educational success? We are seeking a proactive and experienced Human Resource Business Partner to join our Senior HR team and help drive school improvement, colleague engagement, and the implementation of our People Strategy across our multi-academy Trust.
As the HR Business Partner, you will work closely with school leaders, providing expert HR guidance and solutions tailored to the specific needs of our schools. Your expertise will support the development of high-performance cultures, talent management, and foster positive relationships with staff and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong, collaborative relationships across school leaders and stakeholders.
* HR Expertise and Guidance: Provide expert advice on complex HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, attendance, and casework.
* Performance & Talent Management: Champion talent recognition, staff development, and address underperformance constructively.
* Culture & Behaviour: Influence team behaviours to align with organisational values and culture.
* Data-Driven Insight: Use internal and external data to inform HR strategies and anticipate challenges.
* Trade Union Relations: Manage informal and formal relationships with trade unions, leading negotiations when required.
* Change Management & Recruitment: Support managers through organisational changes and assist with recruitment and selection processes.
Essential Criteria
* CIPD Level 5 or above qualification (or equivalent) in HR or Business Management.
* Proven HR experience, including employee relations, performance management, and staff development.
* Strong working knowledge of UK employment legislation.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders.
* Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
* Access to own transport and willingness to travel across Trust schools.
