We have a fantastic opportunity for the right applicant to join our Finance department in our Head office location Felixstowe as an Assistant Accountant. This is a full-time permanent office based Monday to Friday position.

Responsibilities
* Preparing accurate and timely monthly management accounts
* Providing assistance to the senior finance team with monthly group reporting requirements
* Calculating accruals and prepayments
* Reviewing purchase order information and coding invoices
* Communicating with other departments to obtain key information
* Providing information to assist with the annual budget process
* Supporting the year end audit process
* Assisting with general accounting tasks
Requirements
* Strong work ethic to enable tight deadlines to be met
* Excellent analytical and numerical skills
* SAP knowledge preferable
* Strong knowledge of Excel and key formulas
* 2 years minimum experience within a management accounts department
* Ideally CIMA/ACCA/ACA part qualified
* Enthusiastic, can-do approach and a strong team player
* Able to learn new processes and skills quickly
* Able to work well unsupervised and use initiative
