Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Service Designer to join our Platform Delivery team. As a Service Designer, you will be responsible for defining the end-to-end service design for new or existing cloud services. Working with the business and technical teams to obtain input and sign-off requirements to ensure the Customer experience is aligned with strategy. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs, create user-centered service designs, and provide an exceptional end-to-end experience for our customers. This role requires a strong understanding of SaaS software, technical infrastructure, and emerging technologies, such as Kubernetes, Azure, and CI/CD, to effectively address the challenges of designing services in a complex technical landscape.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
* End-to-End customer journey design of new or changed business services
* Ensure customer focus within all service designs
* Ensure that the technical and business requirements are fully captured, understood, agreed upon, consistent, and communicated according to the service strategy
* Identification of opportunities to create a standardized capability that can be reused
* Owner of the service design documentation to ensure there is one version of the truth
* Work with the Business Process Owners, and stakeholders to shape the design
* Lead design workshops
* Provide guidance to Business Process Owners and stakeholders to ensure requirements are defined, meet the needs of the business, and are ready for development
* Adhere to and guide the business to comply with the agreed design principles
Qualifications
* At least 5 years of experience as a Service Designer in a SaaS software environment, with a focus on designing services around complex technical solutions
* Ability to create compelling design artifacts, including service blueprints, customer journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts in a clear and concise manner
* Experience working in an Agile development environment is preferred
* Experience in coaching teams in design requirements
* Strong team player and ability to work with global teams
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
