Outreach Tutor - Alternative Provision
Location: West Bradford
Contract: Full-time, blended on-site and off-site teaching
Age Group: 11-16
We are proud to be working in partnership with an Alternative Provision in West Bradford, seeking a committed Outreach Tutor to support pupils who cannot access mainstream education due to Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.
The primary focus of this role is to re-engage pupils with education and provide tailored, one-to-one support to help them thrive.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging one-to-one sessions for pupils aged 11-16.
- Support and inspire hard-to-reach students, ensuring they re-engage positively with learning.
- Adhere to all school policies and safeguarding procedures.
Requirements:
- HLTA, QTS, or QTLS qualification.
- Strong working knowledge of the national curriculum and other relevant learning programmes.
- Ability to plan and deliver effective, tailored lessons.
- Specialist knowledge and experience supporting pupils with SEMH needs.
