Hours: Rotating shift pattern x3 shifts
1. Week 1: Mon - Fri 6:00 - 14:00
2. Week 2: Mon- Thurs 14:00- 22:00, Friday 14:00 - 20:30
3. Week 3: Sun - Thurs 22:00 - 6:00
Our Client, a Pharmaceutical/ingredients company, is growing their production team and looking to recruit one possibly two Production/Process Operators to work at their modern facility and play a crucial role within the production process.
The Role:
1. To work alone or as a part of a small team to undertake production schedules within the manufacturing facility.
2. Recording details of process jobs on batch manufacturing records.
3. Input jobs and material movements on SAGE/materials & financial management systems.
4. Team leadership skills with the ability to step into the role of Team Leader as required during holidays or absence.
5. Carry out basic in-process testing such as pH or Brix' measurement.
6. Work with packaging & warehouse teams and extraction teams to ensure a smooth flow of material.
7. Cleaning of process equipment and work areas and assistance with site maintenance.
8. Work in other functions within the unit as deemed necessary on a day-to-day basis.
9. Take part in or occasionally lead deviation investigations.
10. Good writing skills needed to author manufacturing SOPs, etc.
11. Observe safe working practices and work at all times in line with Health and Safety regulations.
The Person:
1. The ideal Candidate will have experience in a BRC (food or drink) related production setting and/or GMP (GMP can be taught).
2. Experience working with IT systems (SAGE, Microsoft applications, etc).
3. Experience working with/to SOPs, following H&S standards.
4. Ideally will have experience in material extraction, evaporation, liquids manufacturing, filling & packaging, etc.
5. Strong verbal & written communication skills.
6. Good interpersonal skills needed to communicate with various teams, as well as the ability to deputize/work on initiative and work independently when needed (after training).
