We are looking for a Band 8a Highly Specialised Clinical Pharmacist at Dr Gray’s Hospital, Elgin - a great place to live and work, lying between the coast of the Moray Firth and the mountains of the Highlands and the Cairngorm National Park.
Moray is beautiful and enjoys its own sheltered microclimate. Mountain sports, surfing, world class fishing and golf, and the finest whisky are on our doorstep. An excellent quality of life and superb schools are to be found here, with more reasonable property prices here than in many areas of the UK. Elgin, the county town of Moray has all of the amenities you would expect and is in easy reach of Inverness and Aberdeen.
The Pharmacy Department at Dr Gray’s Hospital provides excellent pharmaceutical care to the patients who use our services. Our small, close knit team has a strong emphasis on innovation and achieving excellence, with recent projects achieving national and international recognition. The successful post holder will be expected to have / develop advanced level clinical knowledge and skills across a broad range of clinical specialties appropriate to the District General Hospital setting, with an opportunity to also pursue an area of special interest.
Full time 37.5 hours per week, job share / part time would be considered.
