The Baby Room Leader works very closely with the Infant Room Leader. • To support and lead your room team in planning and providing appropriate daily activities in line with guidance from the EYFS • To uphold the highest level of safeguarding practice and ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to at all times • To manage and supervise observation, assessment and planning in the rooms, ensuring all children are making progress. • To work with outside professionals where required • To work closely with parents and create trusting relationships with all families QUALIFICATIONS (ESSENTIAL) • Minimum level 3 in early years or equivalent • Experience in working with babies/under 2s • Knowledge of the Early Years Sector • Good standard of English and Maths RELEVANT EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS (ESSENTIAL) • 2 years or more experience of working in a nursery • Experience of being a key person • Excellent working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and current Ofsted framework Practitioner Role also available Best Start Recruitment are here to help you to make the right choice in your next career move - if you meet the criteria set above, or would like Early Years Career advice please apply ASAP for an informal and confidential chat.
