Band 4 Endoscopy Decontamination Supervisor
The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust has a vacancy for an Endoscopy Decontamination Supervisor at their reprocessing facility based in Enfield.
Your shift pattern will be Wednesday to Sunday 22:00 to 06:00. You will receive an enhancement of pay for working unsocial hours and weekends. If required, you will need to be flexible to meet the needs of the service.
Your role will be to assist with the day-to-day production, issue, and distribution of flexible endoscopes for clinical use, supporting the production manager and being responsible for the endoscopy decontamination technicians and team leader on the shift.
The unit facilitates the centralization of all sterilization and decontamination services for our Trust. In addition, the unit has been built with the capacity to provide services for external customers looking to outsource these services to a specialist NHS-led unit.

Main Duties of the Job
1. Oversee and participate in the disassembly of flexible endoscopes, disinfect, pack, and sterilize when appropriate according to local and national policies.
2. Ensure that staff constantly adhere to good practice as trained.
3. Ensure all staff and visitors wear the appropriate PPE at all times.
4. Arrange all staff to work in all production areas and cover where necessary, driving the production processes through the department.
5. Undertake any other tasks, within capability, as directed by the management team.

Salary: £31,081 to £33,665 per annum inclusive of HCAS
