What will you be doing?
There is no such thing as a typical day in Branch life at Keyline, but you can always expect good customer service and a team which is willing to help whenever needed. You can also expect to gain exposure across a number of areas within your branch, allowing you to see where your strengths and interests lie and the direction you would like to develop your career in.
Your role responsibilities will require you to:
1. Deliver the highest standards of service to our customers, being helpful and friendly at all times.
2. Get to know customers better by talking over the counter and on the phone, taking orders, providing quotes, and offering possible solutions.
3. Utilize our point of sale systems with the training provided.
4. Ensure a tidy and safe working environment, maintaining safety standards.
5. Assist with enquiries, provide product information, prepare quotes, and help customers with their purchases.
For this role, you will be joining the Swansea Keyline team. This is a well-established team of 10 in a competitive branch where they deal with many customers daily. Joining this team, you will be in a fast-paced environment with a customer-facing role. The team is very friendly and has a lot of experience among its members. They strive to ensure their service is the best in town. Experience is not necessary if you have the right attitude towards our branch culture and safety!
Right from the start, you’ll be supported in your development. You’ll join our Keyline Civils Specialist Certificate, a 12-month Apprenticeship that will give you the tools to be successful in your role. Over the length of your apprenticeship programme, you’ll explore:
1. Our safety culture within the branch.
2. The products we sell and the services we provide.
3. What makes us different and keeps us as the number one choice for our valued customer base.
