As an Art / Textiles Technician, you will provide exceptional administrative and technical support within the department, ensuring that teachers receive the support they need to deliver a first-class education to our students. To achieve this, you will undertake a range of responsibilities including: Maintaining machines and equipment Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment at all times Preparing teaching materials required for projects, exam work and practical lessons Working with small groups of pupils on curriculum and non-curriculum projects We are looking for a talented creative, with experience of working in a technical creative role and strong knowledge of art / textiles. A good degree of flexibility is important in this role, along with a patient and tolerant approach that will help our students to feel at ease. You will also demonstrate a willingness to undertake training in new areas and learn new skills, techniques and equipment.
