We are seeking a Maintenance Technician for one of our associations in the Maryland market. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the quality completion of all maintenance tasks and projects at their assigned association. This position requires interaction with homeowners, vendors, HOA community managers, and the Association Board of Directors. We are looking for someone with leadership skills and customer service experience as well as the technical skills necessary. This position includes a company vehicle and could require significant drive time between locations.
General Maintenance Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
1. Routine Maintenance: Performing regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of building systems, such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
2. Repairs: Addressing repair requests and promptly resolving issues related to common areas.
3. Groundskeeping: Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of common areas, including outdoor amenities such as pools.
4. Vendor and Contractor Coordination: Coordinating with external vendors, contractors, and service providers for repairs.
5. General Handyman services.
6. Other duties as assigned.
Applicants Must:
1. Have previous maintenance experience.
2. Have previous chiller/boiler experience.
3. Be professional, organized, and self-motivated.
4. Be able to work independently with little supervision.
5. Have the ability to stand, bend, climb, and walk up to 4 hours per day.
6. Be able to safely bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
7. Be able to work in variable weather conditions.
8. Possess general computer skills.
9. Hold a valid license to operate a motor vehicle with a clean driving record.
