MCG Construction are currently recruiting on behalf of the client, a well-established developer known for delivering high-quality homes across South Cumbria and North Lancashire. Due to continued growth, the client is looking for a confident, dynamic, and customer-focused leader to join their construction team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery while maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors and customers.
Duties Include:
* Complete project management of the site from start to finish.
* Ensuring health and safety compliance across all site operations.
* Managing strong relationships with subcontractors.
* Working closely with pre and after-sales teams to deliver an excellent customer experience.
* Material requisitioning.
* Mentoring assistants and general labourers to develop their competencies.
Requirements:
* Extensive site management experience in new-build residential developments.
* SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, and scaffold inspection qualifications.
* Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation.
* Proven ability to plan, make effective decisions, and monitor work output and quality within agreed timescales.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel.
* Excellent communication and record-keeping skills, using the company's systems to provide insights and business information.
