We have a fabulous opportunity starting in May for a part time office superstar to join our team based in Christchurch. You'll play a key role in ensuring we provide an awesome workplace experience to our Christchurch office, including delivering exceptional rituals and events and supporting the wider People Experience team to ensure that we're delivering our employees the experience, learning and growth they need to do their best work and have the best time doing it.
This role is a fixed term 12 month part time, 20 hours per week ideally over 5 days, during standard weekday business hours.

Here's what you can expect from this role:
* Be the key point of contact for our 40+ Christchurch employees and contractors for anything office and events related and action requests that are sent to the Helpdesk or through other communication platforms such as our instant message app or email.
* General office tasks including things like helping guests sign in, working with the external building management team, signing for courier deliveries, ordering stock and office consumables (including kitchen and stationery stock) and managing the starter/leaver process.
* Be a key liaison for service providers and contractors about day-to-day issues, building requirements and facilities issues.
* Ensure we have superb office functionality and the office's appearance is well maintained. This includes keeping our office tidy, consumables stocked, supporting desk and office moves.
* You will also champion some new tools we are experimenting with such as our desk and locker booking apps.
* Be part of the Health and Safety Committee and ensure the Christchurch office is a safe place to work by identifying and rectifying any H&S issues and implementing new H&S initiatives.
* Support the set up and delivery for All Company events and People Experience events (including learning and leadership programmes).
What you will bring to our team:
* Experience within an Office Administration/Coordinator role
* Experience in facilities management would be awesome
* Some experience organising events
* The ability to work in a fast paced environment - being super proactive and willing to muck in is a must!
* A positive outlook - you'll be calm, resilient and resourceful under pressure.
* The ability to prioritise and deliver, as you'll need to juggle multiple projects, tasks and queries and see these through to the end.
* A great attitude - you'll love working with people and get a kick out of helping others.
We're a fast-moving company - there's lots of exciting projects and initiatives on the go. As a team, we're really collaborative and supportive of each other. You'll be part of our wider People team who support over 500 people across three locations in New Zealand.
