We are representing a hugely innovative manufacturing organisation who are at the forefront of their specialist field, whilst continuing their growth through the diversification into other markets. Established 30+ years, they’re stable and not afraid to invest, and design and manufacture an award-winning range of products at their sites in East Lancashire.
Currently in the process of launching a major new product range, and with investment in the £millions, they currently seek a methodical, well-structured and creative Manufacturing Engineer to offer additional manufacturing and project engineering support, assisting with the implementation of new equipment and processes as well as improving existing processes through the application of Lean techniques.
We seek the following:
* HNC/HND/Degree in engineering or related technical discipline
* Proven experience in a manufacturing engineer, production engineer or project engineer in an assembly biased manufacturing environment
* Experience managing significant (£100,000+) capex projects, from cradle to grave, working with external suppliers.
* DFM/DFA/FMEA
* Skilled in using AutoCAD for the design of process layouts
* Good knowledge of world class manufacturing techniques (Lean Six Sigma) and will engineer processes with ‘value added activity’ and waste reduction in mind
We seek an experienced manufacturing project engineer, who can work in a structured and methodical fashion with little supervision, working to a gated process to project deadlines.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer to tackle a major project and product introduction, which will truly revolutionise this company’s product offering and place in the market.
This is a permanent role offering longevity and career opportunities as this business projects to double what is already a significant £multimillion turnover. To apply, please send full CV stating current salary and location.
