Technical Project Manager

The Role:
As a Technical Project Manager, you will manage end-to-end software deployments, ensuring seamless customer experiences while overseeing both technical and relational aspects of each project. Working closely with Customer Success and Product teams, you’ll serve as the main point of contact for customers, translating complex technical details into clear, actionable steps. This role is ideal for a former developer keen to transition into customer-focused project management, with significant scope for impact and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing the entire software deployment lifecycle, overseeing timelines, deliverables, and progress to align with internal goals and customer expectations.
* Acting as the main communication bridge between customers and technical teams, fostering transparency and mutual understanding.
* Proactively addressing technical challenges, including cloud adoption, and guiding customers towards successful deployment milestones.
* Leading customer discussions around deployment, configurations, and upgrades, clarifying build versions and highlighting potential risks.
* Collaborating closely with the Customer Success team to ensure deployment plans align with customer goals and technical requirements.
* Troubleshooting technical issues in coordination with Product and Development teams to maintain optimal performance.
* Documenting deployment processes, troubleshooting steps, and best practices for internal and customer reference.
* Gaining insights into customer workflows to identify areas for improving functionality and user experience.
* Supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with customers, gathering workflow insights, and providing feedback to inform product improvements.
What They’re Looking For:
* Experience in customer-facing roles such as project management, software deployment, or technical support.
* Strong understanding of software implementation, ideally with cloud-based platforms
* Excellent communication skills to convey technical requirements to non-technical stakeholders.
* Background in technical implementation projects, software deployment, and troubleshooting.
* Proven track record in managing relationships and driving successful project completion.
* Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues.
* Previous developer experience or technical background, with a keen interest in customer-facing project management.
