Title: Senior Buildings Project Manager Salary: £45,000-50,000 Hours: Full-time 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday Fixed term: Permanent, and includes pension with contributions made solely by employer (no employee contributions required) Accountable to: Diocesan Programme Manager Location: Hybrid - flexible but roughly 3 days in the office (St James House) or on visits each week. Some evening work may be required. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced senior project manager with a background in building and construction, who is passionate about developing strong local communities. What You’ll Do: A senior project manager role, equipping a team of 5 people and enabling the Diocese of Liverpool and its parishes to achieve maximum value (monetary and/or social) from its churches, halls, land and associated housing. This is a role with great potential as the Diocese holds a number of under-used historic assets and some assets that are no longer needed. This role will give oversight relating to those assets, working with and through a small staff team to impact change and achieve maximum impact through the use of the buildings. Who We’re Looking For: We seek a creative thinker and skilled facilitator with: Proven project management experience, particularly in complex building projects. Strong leadership and team management skills. Experience in property consultations and an understanding of planning laws related to historic buildings.
