Job Title: Finance Business Partner

What you’ll be doing
The focus of your role is to partner with business stakeholders to drive operational and cost efficiency, reducing cash outflow through negotiation and challenging the norm. You will be at the forefront of discussions with varied stakeholders, ensuring that appropriate financial governance is maintained while providing agile support to the business.
* Working alongside business leadership teams to drive operational and financial performance within Digital Intelligence, delivering against in-year and longer-term plans and targets.
* Work with and challenge the functional leads and their delivery teams to influence and improve commercial decision-making in order to drive long-term profitability of Digital Intelligence and increase business efficiency and cost competitiveness.
* Supporting the evolution of the Digital Intelligence organisation structure as the business adapts to changing customer demands.
* Drive the business to improve profitability through an understanding of the cost drivers and levers associated with tools and services needed to fulfil business demand.
* Identifying business trends, risks, and opportunities, translating these into corrective actions and assessing the financial impact of business decisions against plans and budget.
* Support the ongoing development of the Cost Performance Team based in Malaysia and the UK to improve efficiency, delivery, and alignment with Finance Modernisation to transition activities and responsibilities.
* Financial support for the budgeting, forecasting, and management of cost and cost transformation.
* Work with and support the cost performance team to identify process improvements to increase efficiency.
* Strong cost management and ability to assess appropriate spending/investment forecasts.
* Manage the Digital Intelligence Capital investment lifecycle.
* Provide decision support for investment cases, cost transformation initiatives, and bids as required to ensure return on investment is assessed and understood.
* Presentation of timely, accurate, and complex financial information in a clear and simple format to stakeholders from across the organisation.
* Ensure a strong financial controls environment.
Your skills and experiences
* Qualified member of a professional accounting body (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages, including Excel.
* Recognises best practice in finance processes.
* Strong at building relationships across all functions and stakeholders.
* Previous experience in finance partnering desirable.
* Previous experience of using SAP, Adaptive Insights, and Cognos would be beneficial but not essential.
