Salary: Grade 4, £23,500 pro rata per annum
Contract: 30 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (Term Time plus 1 week) - Permanent
Start Date: February 2025

We are looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant with some responsibility for EHCP pupils, some responsibility for pupils with medical needs, and some whole class responsibility. The EHCP pupils may need support with communication to access learning within the classroom and to interact with their peers. This role also includes playground supervision at break and lunchtimes.
We are committed to an inclusive approach to the education of all our pupils, and the successful candidate will support this approach through their role.
Responsibilities
1. Support EHCP pupils with communication and access to learning.
2. Supervise pupils during break and lunchtime.
3. Assist pupils with medical needs.
4. Encourage appropriate behaviour choices in the classroom and outside.
5. Support children of all abilities.
6. Run interventions as needed.
7. Attend to pupils' personal needs, including social, welfare, and health matters.
8. Implement actions and strategies suggested by outside agencies.
Qualifications
We are looking for an applicant who:

3. Is flexible, well-motivated, and able to work on their own initiative.

5. Will make a positive contribution to our school community.
6. Is willing to work with SEND pupils.
