History Teacher

We are looking for an enthusiastic, capable and inspiring teacher to join our History & Politics Department in September 2025
The History & Politics Department is ambitious, high achieving and creative, staffed by six experienced teachers. It is our aim to promote learning in a lively and engaging way that combines fun with academic rigor.

The successful applicant will be:
* A highly motivated, enthusiastic and confident teacher who enjoys delivering high quality, creative lessons and inspiring a love of History and Politics.
* Able to teach across the ability range at KS3 and KS4
* Able to teach History and/or Politics at A Level
* Able to secure high standards of engagement, progress and achievement for all students.
* An inspiring practitioner who keeps abreast of the latest developments in learning and teaching.
* Able and willing to make a full contribution to the life of the school and be committed to extra-curricular activities.
* Eager to become a supportive Form Tutor.
* We have clear expectations in the School that lead to a well ordered and harmonious environment where pupils can excel.
