Our client is a privately owned company based in Hull. They are experts in delivering a wide range of print and document management solutions to their clients. With industry experience of over 38 years, they cater for their customers needs in a professional, honest way and are focused on providing leading-edge technologies and excellent account management.
An opportunity has arisen through their growth program which they continue to build on and the company now require a salesperson to develop new business, as well as account management and expansion within their client base.
Our client is looking for a highly motivated Sales Account Manager to join their sales team. Tenacious and driven, the successful candidate will be looking for an opportunity to build a stable career. A long-term view and commitment to developing a territory focused on new business will be essential to your success, along with the ability and desire to take ownership for your learning and progression.
Key responsibilities but not limited to:-
Sell directly to specified accounts and new business opportunities
Achieve or exceed the sales and activity targets that have been set on an ongoing basis
Explain/demonstrate the benefits of the range of products offered by the company
Gain and attend qualified appointments with customers who are in need of one or more of the companies business solutions on a weekly basis.
Assess customers needs and present options to improve their business performance
Provide professional quotations for customers and negotiate a favourable outcome maintaining any ongoing service/support profitability
Manage time to achieve the key performance indicators for the role, understanding the key ratios (activity to be successful- first appointments, demonstrations etc.)
Ensure that all business transactions written are in line with Company policies and standards
Provide ongoing accurate forecasts for the Sales Manager
Update the Companys customer relationship management system at all times in a timely manner
Observe H&S, HR & Company procedures at all times and ensure that the company assets Im responsible for are kept to the required standard
Carry out other projects/duties as required by the Sales Manager
Essential skills and knowledge:-
Self-motivated and enthusiastic
Target driven Tenacious and confident Articulate and professional Clear and confident communication skills with experience of presenting and negotiating contracts at director level.
Articulate, literate and competent in preparing and delivering sales presentations
Strong phone skills and experience of cold calling
A proven track record in business-to-business sales knowledge and understanding of sales processes and cycles
A successful track record of working in a target driven environment
Competent in using Microsoft Office
Any additional qualifications or experiences that demonstrate drive and determination to be the best will be considered
