We’re looking for a proactive HR professional with a can-do attitude and a real drive to help colleagues thrive at work.
The successful candidate will join the People Services team as an Associate HR Business Partner. You’ll work closely with Divisional HR Business Partners to deliver our exciting and ambitious people agenda within the BBC.
Working as part of a centralised People Services team, you’ll be embedded within a Divisional HR team, providing support that enables them to deliver world-class content. You will act as a trusted advisor, understanding and supporting delivery of the people strategy, while managing stakeholder relationships across the wider HR function.
Main Responsibilities
* Support the HR Business Partner in developing and implementing solutions aligned to the people strategy.
* Work closely with the HR Business Partners to enhance employee engagement and improve performance.
* Ensure collaboration across Specialist Teams/People Services Teams to deliver services.
* Act as a point of escalation for complex queries and requests.
* Participate in projects, promoting the BBC’s reputation as a global organisation.
* Be an ambassador for the function and represent BBC HR internally and externally.
Are you the right Candidate?
You will have previous experience in a HR generalist role, either at Specialist or Senior Advisor level. You will be confident in a matrix organisation and excel at collaborative working.
You will demonstrate:
* Experience of managing change activities within an organisation.
* Experience across areas such as pay, data, people practices, and development.
* Evidence of working with stakeholders and managing expectations.
* Evidence of working with data and ability to draw insights.
* Examples of supporting continuous improvement.
