My client who specialises in groundwork'sand maintenanceare looking for a Transport Planner on a temp to perm basis.
This role offers the opportunity to be part of a great friendly team but also to work on your own accord to plan site visits for the off site team throughout the working week.
Role duties:
* Plan and coordinate work schedules, optimising routes for safe and timely maintenance programs
* Monitor and manage driver schedules in real-time, making adjustments to maintain service levels.
* Liaise closely with drivers, safety teams, and customer service to communicate any route changes or updates.
* Addresstransportissues such as delays, breakdowns, or safety concerns promptly and professionally.

Skills:
* Previous experience in atransportplanning role.
* Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail, especially regarding safety and compliance.
* Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with internal teams and external clients.
* Proactive, problem-solving approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Salary between £25000-£28000 per annum ( Paid as an hourly rate for the first 12 weeks)
Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm
