Join us in this role where you’ll become a Project Manager for the end-to-end activities performing current and future major component exchanges (MCE) utilising jack-up vessels across our corporate portfolio of offshore windfarms in operation. In this regard, you’ll play a crucial role in the execution of the defined strategies to further optimise the MCEs.
Welcome to Generation Projects & Campaigns
You’ll be part of Jack-Up & Heavy Lifting Solutions where you, together with your colleagues, will be involved in and responsible for execution of major component exchange projects. In addition, the team is maturing and executing long-term MCE strategies for the future fleet of turbines, including various digitised and specialised tools.
We work as a small and closely integrated international team of onshore as well as offshore-based colleagues focusing on common learnings, development, and a good working atmosphere on a daily basis.
You’ll play an important role in:
1. Ensuring the safe and timely execution of major component exchange projects whilst minimising turbine downtime and associated costs.
2. Preparing documentation packages, reviewing and approving third-party project documentation, managing marine warranty surveyor approvals in addition to seabed survey activities.
3. A continued team effort to further optimise and define the future standards for execution of operational offshore projects.
4. Assisting in various projects that aim at developing a scalable, long-term, robust, and efficient setup for the future operational MCE projects in the department.
5. Active contribution to the development of strategies and implementation of innovative solutions to service the growing portfolio in new markets, platforms, and challenging locations.
To succeed in the role, you:
1. Have a completed degree in a relevant engineering or marine discipline.
2. Have relevant experience with managing offshore operational projects, preferably within the offshore wind sector.
3. Have a result-oriented approach to your work and the ability to prioritise activities in addition to an ability to take crucial decisions in a fast-paced and dynamic operational environment.
4. Have strong communication skills and speak and write English fluently.
5. Thrive in an international environment and are able to create good relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
6. Enjoy a dynamic working environment and are comfortable handling unforeseen operational issues safely and effectively, with the support of qualified team members.
Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
