Energy Made Simple is a dynamic and fast-growing energy consultancy. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance and Administration Manager to join our team and help streamline our financial operations while overseeing administrative functions.
Position Overview:
As the Finance and Administration Manager, you will play a critical role in managing all financial transactions in the company and ensuring efficient administrative processes. You will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, accounting, and financial forecasting, in addition to managing day-to-day administrative tasks.
We are a small and tightly knit established company, but we have significant growth strategy in place and we are looking for a suitable candidate to help us on that journey!
Key Responsibilities:
1. Finance Management:
1. Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other key performance metrics.
2. Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
3. Reconcile supplier accounts.
4. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
5. Manage payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and financial audits.
6. Assist in the development of financial strategies to improve profitability and financial stability.
2. Administrative Oversight:
1. Oversee office management, including procurement, supplies, and office organisation.
2. Assist with timely resolutions of customer disputes.
3. Validate invoices for clients.
4. Maintain accurate filing systems and ensure the efficient operation of office processes.
5. Experience in HR would be an advantage, as this is something that could be incorporated into the role.
3. Process Improvement:
1. Identify and implement process improvements in financial and administrative systems.
2. Work with department heads to streamline operations and improve productivity.

Pay: £15.50-£16.39 per hour
