About the role
It is exciting times here at Churchill Retirement Living and due toour bold growth plans we are recruiting for an Apprentice Assistant SiteManager to join the Commercial and Construction team in our Southwest regionbased in Ringwood. The role will be site based, initially on our Site in Drayton.
As an Apprentice Assistant Site Manager, you will bean integral part of the site team, gaining an understanding of the entire buildprogramme from start to finish.
This is a busy role, where no two days are the sameand with lots to learn and keep you occupied. When you start out you will besupporting the management team with tasks such as the co-ordination of ordersand deliveries of materials to site, maintaining drawing registers and carryingout daily inspections. As you progress you will assist the site manager toensure standards of Health and Safety are maintained, that all work is kept onprogramme, and that all construction work is delivered to the specification andhigh quality that we expect.
Whilst working with us we will fund you through ConstructionSupport Technician apprenticeship, to help develop your knowledge ofconstruction and provide the skills you will need to set you up for success andprogress your career. In addition, we will put you onto a Site SupervisorsSafety Training Scheme and support you to gain your CSCS card.
The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8am to5.30pm.

On successful completion of this apprenticeship, you will gain the following qualifications:
13. Construction Support Technician Level 3 apprenticeship
14. BTEC level 3 in Construction and the Built Environment

What opportunities are there for progression?
Aftergaining your level 3 apprenticeship there is an opportunity to further yourstudies with a level 4 Construction Site Supervisor qualification.
Career progression paths would be to an AssistantSite Manager, Site Manager, Contracts Manager, then Construction Director.

26. GCSE or equivalent English (Grade C/4/5) Essential
27. GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade C/4/5) Essential
28. GCSE or equivalent in a science based subject would be an advantage
