We are looking for an Evidence Generation Lead to join us in our UK & Ireland Immunology Medical Affairs team, based in our Slough, UK offices.
About the role
The Evidence Generation Lead (UK & Ireland) will be responsible for planning, implementing, and executing an evidence generation and publication strategy at the area level for the Immunology portfolio. This strategic plan is expected to be aligned with the organization’s aspiration for value creation and substantiation. This lead will be responsible for leading cross-functional workstreams to ensure the development of an evidence generation and publication plan that is aligned across Medical Affairs, Commercial, and Market Access.

You will report into the UK & Ireland Immunology Medical Affairs Head.
What you’ll do
1. Provide leadership by demonstrating strong acumen in evidence generation & publication approaches and consistently displaying an ability to translate key business questions into executable research questions and/or objectives.
2. Drive alignment with cross-functional partners to implement an evidence generation & publication strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
3. Leverage subject matter expertise and ability to translate evidence into value statements to ensure the pull-through of evidence into the field.
4. Direct execution of collaborative evidence generation projects in support of health economics, patient-reported outcomes, epidemiology, patient access, and health policy. Partner with the Integrated & Strategic Evidence Generation teams, EU Evidence Generation Strategy and Operational Leads, EU publication leads to determine evidence generation & publication strategies including inclusion, analysis, and validation of quality of life or patient-reported outcomes in development plan as well as local insights that would support evolution of Global/ regional Integrated & Strategic Evidence Generation plans.
5. Lead from a Medical Affairs perspective on non-interventional studies at an area level and partner with EU Evidence Generation Strategy & Operation leads, clinical development teams and clinical research organization in the set up and execution of these clinical studies.
Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:
1. MSc, PhD, PharmD, MD.
2. A few years of experience in health services research, public health, epidemiology, or health economics and significant healthcare experience.
3. Payer experience.
4. Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or medical device industry experience strongly preferred.
5. Experience with negotiations with pricing authorities, institutional customers (employers, hospitals, managed care organizations, government) and fund holding authorities preferable.
