Your responsibilities
* Working within a dynamic team that includes engineers and other professionals, you will assist with meeting the technical challenges of maintaining and improving plant performance
* You will become familiar with various power generation processes, assets and will actively contribute to ensure business continuity is met.
* You will work and interact with various people at various levels within our organisation, including managers and executive team
* You will assist and support the development of low carbon, sustainable energy solutions
* Utilising and developing a range of additional skills you will be given the opportunities to help us develop, maintain and create monthly reporting, dashboards and design, implement and document key processes, including safety, contracts, commercial and the preparation of presentations.

Your profile
* Enthusiastic, passionate and inquisitive with the dedication to achieve a career in engineering
* Possessing or working towards a degree level qualification in Engineering or similar
* Confident in using Microsoft packages with good analytical and commercial skills; a knowledge of working with spreadsheets or databases would be useful
* Organised and meticulous in all aspects of work, and able to work to strict deadlines
* There will be a requirement for travel between Cottam Development Centre and Killingholme Power Station on occasions.
