Business Development Manager, Capital Markets / Finance – in a prestigious US law firm with EMEA remits. Hybrid working. 12-month FTC Maternity Cover.
This is a really exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to work in this prestigious US law firm which is really investing in the BD and marketing function with new roles and an increased client focus rather than reactive marketing.
You will be responsible for all business development and marketing activities for the firm’s capital market and finance practice across the EMEA region. The role will involve taking a proactive approach to advising partners on their business development activities and will include:
* Developing and delivering on the plans for the groups; Working with partners to analyse target and key clients and advise on ways to grow business from these clients; Running cross-selling initiatives; Horizon scanning – finding opportunities, generating leads and working with the partners to follow up; Manage 2-3 of the firm’s key global clients including gaining client feedback; Leading on bids and sharing best practice with the EMEA team;
You will be a BD manager with your expertise gained ideally in the legal sector, who’s ready for a new challenge, in a US firm that is ahead of its game. A knowledge of the relevant practices would be helpful but not essential for this role. You will be high energy and enthusiastic, with the ability to influence and persuade partners and take them on the BD journey.
