Join the Axel Arigato Bicester Team!
We’re looking for a dynamic and engaging Host to join our team in Bicester! This role will play a key part in shaping the customer experience, setting the tone for the store, and providing an exceptional service both in person and online. As a Host, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers, creating a welcoming environment while helping to manage customer flow and ensure a seamless shopping experience.
THE ROLE AND TEAM
As a Host, you'll be responsible for greeting customers, maintaining the overall atmosphere of the store, and offering a high level of service to both walk-in and virtual customers. You will contribute to a positive and welcoming environment while working closely with the team to uphold our brand’s values and performance goals. Whether it's managing queues, assisting customers with product knowledge, or ensuring smooth virtual interactions, you’ll be the heart of the customer experience in-store.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Some of your key responsibilities will be to:
* Set the tone of the store: Greet every customer with warmth and positivity to create a welcoming atmosphere as soon as they walk in.
* Manage in-store and virtual customer service: You will be the point of contact for customers both in-person and online, offering help and information about the products, brand, and store layout. Respond to online queries promptly and professionally.
* Ensure customer flow & queue management: Ensure that customers have a smooth and enjoyable experience, helping manage queues when necessary and assisting in maintaining an organized store environment.
* Promote Axel Arigato’s brand ethos: Share your passion for our collections, trends, and the brand’s values, while making sure customers leave with a positive experience.
* Support team collaboration: Work together with the sales team to meet store performance goals and deliver excellent service. Ensure clear communication with other team members about customer needs and in-store operations.
* Drive business growth: Assist in achieving sales and KPI targets through proactive engagement with customers and contributing to store goals.
ARE YOU THE ONE?
We are looking for someone with most of the following:
* Prior experience in customer service, preferably in a retail or hospitality environment.
* Possesses strong communication skills and enjoys engaging with people.
* Has a passion for fashion, with a strong interest in the Axel Arigato brand.
* Is self-motivated and able to work independently, while also thriving in a team-oriented setting.
* Is approachable and has a friendly, professional demeanour.
* Has the ability to manage customer expectations in a busy retail environment and keep calm under pressure.
* Is open to new challenges and continuously seeks personal and professional growth.
* Is flexible and available to work up to 40 hours per week, including weekends, depending on business needs.
