We are looking to hire a driven and ambitious pharmacist to join our team in Verda Park, Wallingford! You will join a growing team and have a meaningful impact on our patients and customers. We are open to a mid-level or senior person. Please note, this role is 5 days per week on site in Wallingford, Oxfordshire.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Follow our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Operational guidelines
2. Maintain compliance with our practice standards
3. Help the Superintendent Pharmacist to develop, implement and maintain Pharmacy procedures and processes.
4. Work with the Head of Pharmacy and Pharmacy Manager to help run the Pharmacy
5. Deputise for the Pharmacy Manager in their absence
6. Check dispensed prescriptions and send out orders via our couriers
7. Manage the Pharmacy near misses and create action plans
8. Work with the Risk and Safety team to root cause and resolve incidents
9. Work proactively with Service and other internal teams to ensure orders are dispatched in a timely manner
10. Proactively solve problems and innovate, contributing towards service development and patient experience
11. Work with the Pharmacy Manager to train and develop the Pharmacy workforce
12. Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager and Supply Chain team to manage inventory
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
1. Be registered with the pharmacy regulator (GPhC)
2. Demonstrate high levels of professional expertise
3. Have a passion for pharmacy and providing the best care for our customers.
4. Enjoy working collaboratively with a team-centred approach
5. Possess excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and provisions of national and local services
6. Exhibit role model communication skills; you will hold excellent face-to-face interactions to effectively meet the varied needs of customers and patients in pharmacy
7. Be flexible in your working hours to suit the needs of the business
8. This can be a mid-level or senior role depending on experience
