Danny Sullivan Group are currently looking for their next Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work on a project on Heathrow. The candidate will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience on working projects within a collaborative environment. Responsibilities: Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts. Monitoring project expenditure and ensuring value for money. Supporting the preparation of cost/value reconciliations. Assisting with the procurement of subcontractors, materials, and services. Preparing tender documents, schedules, and quotations. Evaluating subcontractor bids and negotiating agreements. Supporting the management of NEC or JCT contracts. Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. Measuring works on-site and preparing valuations. Assisting with the preparation of project progress and cost reports. Supporting financial forecasting and cash flow analysis. Liaising with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to resolve commercial issues. Supporting senior quantity surveyors and managers on day-to-day tasks. Experience/Qualifications: A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management (or related). Prior experience in construction or civils (internship/placement experience is desirable). Familiarity with NEC contracts and/or JCT contracts (preferred). A proactive and team-oriented approach with excellent attention to detail.
