We are looking for a skilled and dedicated individual to join our Asset Management Directorate as the Head of Investment and Sustainability.
Whats the role?
As the Head of Investment and Sustainability responsible for our homes into the long term, you will play a key leadership role in managing and investing in our assets and delivering on our sustainability initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading the development and delivery of asset management and sustainability strategies that align with our purpose, sustainability goals and regulatory requirements.
* Overseeing and ensuring compliance with key regulations such as the Decent Homes Standard, Consumer Regulations, CDM Regulations, and sustainability frameworks.
* Applying strong digital skills to analyse complex data to establish the performance of WCHs homes; bring forward option appraisals to make informed decisions; and present insights effectively to stakeholders.
* Managing complex investment and sustainability projects with a focus on delivering value for money, quality outcomes for customers and compliance with relevant standards.
* Identifying and managing risks to ensure successful delivery and organisational success.
* Working with boards and committees on investment and sustainability decisions.
* Developing and maintaining excellent engagement strategies to ensure our customers and other stakeholders can influence our investment and sustainability plans and decisions about homes.
* Leading by example and demonstrating behaviours that align with our core values.
What are we looking for?

As Head of Investment and Sustainability, you will be joining a forward-thinking team dedicated to making a positive impact on housing and the environment. You will be customer-focused, with the ability to interact empathetically with a wide variety of people. You will have extensive experience in Asset Management, building surveying, and sustainability, preferably within the residential sector.
Essential experience:
* Leading teams
* Delivering successful asset management, investment and sustainability programmes.
* In depth knowledge of relevant regulations and sustainability frameworks.
* Strong data analysis, decision-making, and presentation skills.
* Proven track record of successfully leading complex projects and managing risks.
* Relevant experience in financial planning and budget management processes.
* A commitment to continuous professional development, including a willingness to pursue a professional housing qualification if required.
* You will need to maintain a satisfactory basic level DBS check.
* You will need to hold a UK driving licence with access to a suitable vehicle, with insurance cover for business use.
Desirable:
* Corporate membership of RICS, CIOB and or CIH.
* Management qualification such as ILM, diploma or working towards a recognised qualification.
* Experience of using MRI Asset.
