Post Completion Legal Assistant A great opportunity has arisen for a conveyancing legal assistant to handle the post-completion administrative duties to support the Residential Conveyancing team. The role includes overseeing the Post Completion Assistant and ensuring tasks are delegated effectively. As the ideal candidate, you will provide high-quality service while maintaining a professional and efficient office environment. Key Responsibilities Include: Managing property registrations and following up with the Land Registry Organising and scheduling title deeds for clients and lenders Archiving and other general administrative tasks Handling phone calls from clients, third parties, and internal teams Monitoring the progress of registrations Ensuring post-completion searches are tracked and noted in the diary for timely follow-up Requirements: Qualifications & Experience: Ability to manage post completion work for all fee earners within the department without supervision Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and third parties Strong listening skills and attention to detail when receiving instructions Proficiency in recording conversations accurately and delivering client instructions to Fee Earners promptly Office & Technical Skills: Proficient in using computer systems, databases, and spreadsheets Familiarity with digital dictation, diary management, and filing Experience with standard office precedents Personal Skills: Strong time management and organisational skills Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines Clear and concise written communication Confidence in returning client calls and reporting issues to supervising Fee Earners A collaborative team player willing to assist other staff members as needed This role requires someone proactive, detail-oriented and dedicated to providing excellent administrative support in a busy office environment.
