The Vacancy
The post holder will support residents across Newcastle, North Tyneside and Northumberland in their employment journey, offering a suite of varied activities that help them adopt positive routines suited to their specific needs and move positively towards employment.
Responsibilities include removing barriers to employment, building confidence and motivation to seek work, and progressing with basic skills.
The post holder will collaborate with employability delivery teams to provide access to a bespoke employment journey for local residents who are hardest to reach.

Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare, adapt, organise and maintain learning resources and/or equipment.
2. Set up the learning environment and undertake the day-to-day maintenance of equipment.
3. Support the employability team in the effective and efficient organisation and delivery of high-quality learning programmes.
4. Undertake a range of administration and project duties while proactively engaging with communities across Newcastle, North Tyneside and Northumberland.
5. Prepare for instructing and supervising the learning experience and environment.
6. Produce and carry out the organisation and administration appropriate to the learning situation, including marking registers and submitting other returns and records.
7. Complete and maintain accurate records for project outcomes.
8. Contribute to the learner’s personal development and encourage responsibility for their own learning and resilience.
9. Support individuals and groups through the learning process and associated training sessions and referral routes.
10. Attend team, school, and other appropriate meetings as required.
