We are looking for a dedicated and caring Speech and Language Therapist to join our community based clinical team. The post holder will provide speech and language therapy services at 3 of our learning disability residential services in the geographical region. This post is suitable for a newly qualified SLT, including graduates who will have HCPC registration by March 2025.
The post holder will cover the following:
* Thornfield Grange (2 days per week) -
* Oaklands (2 days per week) -
* Redlands (½ day per week) -
* The remaining ½ day will be for clinical administration and working on personal development.
The homes are specialist residential services for individuals with a learning disability and autistic adults who may present with behaviours that challenge. We aim to provide a safe, comfortable and effective environment for those we support, promoting independence and community integration. This role is a permanent position working 5 days a week with a maximum caseload size of 15.
The post holder will also have the opportunity to complete their post-basic dysphagia training in June 2025 and be supported with evidencing competence in this field of practice.
