Location: This role is based in our Basildon facility, and there may be occasional weekend work required to meet the needs of the business.
Package: £50,000 - £60,000 plus 20% bonus.

We are seeking a Logistics Lead to join our team at Konica Minolta!
The Logistics Lead role requires an individual with a dynamic and decisive leading style, with a passion for optimizing logistics operations!
You will report directly to the Head of Logistics, overseeing the day-to-day activities of Logistics Administration and Operations. You will focus on identifying and resolving challenges within the logistics department, driving innovative solutions, and encouraging efficient ways of working to consistently deliver a high standard of service to our customers and a high standard of health and safety for employees.
We are looking for a leader who can be both decisive and empathetic whilst earning the respect and trust of the team. You will be passionate about promoting a collaborative culture and empowering team members to perform at their best while aligning with the company's objectives.
Previous experience in a hands-on logistics environment is crucial for the success of this role, and you must be comfortable with recommending practical plans and processes to achieve our operational objectives. This role requires a real understanding of proven ability to enhance operational processes, ensure exceptional service delivery, and promote a high standard of health and safety.

* Effective Leadership: Lead and manage the performance of Administration, Warehouse, and Workshop Management Team. Foster an inclusive and effective workplace culture, ensuring the team is aligned with operational goals.
* Data-Driven Decision Making: Use operational data to assist in preparing annual budgets, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances, and initiating corrective actions to meet warehouse financial objectives.
* Forecasting and Planning: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to conduct unit forecasting, advise on future operational needs, and ensure accurate PDI capacity planning.
* Ordering and Inventory: Manage hardware, consumables, and spare parts stock using sales forecasts and CRM dashboards. Maintain replenishment levels to minimise back orders and balance inventory, ensuring performance targets are met.
* Warehouse Optimisation: Design and implement warehouse layouts and operations systems, ensuring efficient product flow, handling, and storage requirements are met.
* Health and Safety: Promote a proactive health and safety culture. Maintain compliance with legal standards, develop security policies, and coordinate patrols to ensure a safe and secure working environment.
