Summary Due to a number of exciting new project wins, Caddick Construction Midlands region have a great opportunity for an experienced Document Controller to join their growing team. Overview Caddick Construction is a family-owned business which is part of Caddick Group. We are currently delivering exceptional projects across the Midlands region within a range of sectors. This role will work alongside the on-site Design Managers working on a number of projects including high-rise residential schemes. The role will be predominately site based working across our Midlands projects and will manage the intake, handling and storage of project documents including its management system, maintain document control logs, recording all correspondence, and maintaining a database of key submission dates. The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Document Controller with knowledge and understanding of construction projects and documentation systems and industry-specific technical knowledge, including understanding of industry terms, policies, and processes. Excellent computer skills and proficient in the use of Viewpoint/Fieldview/4P including project set up, creating workflows and security groups. Required skills include good organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines, strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills to ensure that expectations are clear and the ability to work with minimal supervision and an efficient and proactive manner.
