Position Details Role: Learning Support Assistant Location: High Peak area Start Date: January 2024 Hours: Full-time, term-time only Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Your Role As a Learning Support Assistant, you will: Work closely with students requiring additional support to help them achieve their full potential. Assist the class teacher in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. Support individual or small groups of students with their academic, social, and emotional development. Help implement tailored strategies for students with special educational needs (SEN). What We're Looking For Experience working with children or young people, ideally within an educational setting. A compassionate and patient approach, with a passion for supporting students with diverse needs. Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant, or equivalent experience) are desirable. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
